Through music, education, motherhood, photography, and entrepreneurship, each chapter contributed to the perspective I bring to my work today.

Long before I became a designer, I was a cellist.

As a teenager, years of disciplined practice led to an invitation to perform at Carnegie Hall. The experience taught me lessons that continue to shape my work today: attention to detail, respect for process, and the understanding that meaningful results are built one intentional decision at a time.

Whether composing a musical performance or a brand experience, excellence is rarely accidental. It emerges through clarity, refinement, and thoughtful execution.

Raising five children taught me flexibility, patience, and the ability to navigate complexity with grace. It reinforced something I see in every successful project: meaningful outcomes are rarely the result of having everything figured out from the start. They take shape through adaptability, consistency, and care.

Curiosity has been a constant throughout my life. From education and school leadership to photography, design, and entrepreneurship, I'm continually drawn to learning how things work—and how they can work better. That curiosity informs every strategy, system, and website I create.

Years ago, while competing in a hometown pageant, a judge asked me:

"What is the difference between a microscope and a telescope, and how does this apply to your life?"

That question has stayed with me ever since.

It's about knowing when to zoom out and see the bigger picture, when to zoom in on the details, and—most importantly—choosing a clear focal point.

Every organization has a story worth telling and a perspective worth sharing. The challenge is bringing it all together with clarity and intention.

That's why effective brands require both perspectives: a clear vision for where they're headed and careful attention to the details that shape how they're experienced.

My role is to help organizations find and communicate what matters most. When strategy, design, and messaging align around a clear focal point, every expression of the brand becomes more intentional, cohesive, and meaningful.
